Looking for fun in Texas?

Look no further. I have always heard wonderful things about the Natural Bridge Caverns but have never been myself. I am excited to take my family to explore the natural beauties on the Discovery Tour and pan for gems with my daughter! There is just so much fun for the entire family! I am sure my husband will want to try the Canopy Challenge!!

Naturally Amazing. Experience one of the world's premier caverns, Natural Bridge Caverns. Take the Discovery Tour and see what millions of others have seen - an incredible underground world of natural beauty. This 75-minute tour explores a half-mile of the largest and most spectacular show cavern in Texas. The Hidden Passages Tour gives guests an up-close view of rare and delicate cave formations illuminated by a state-of-the-art lighting system and includes a total darkness experience. Pan for gems, minerals and fossils like miners panned for gold at the Natural Bridge Mining Company. Take on the Canopy Challenge--a 4-level, 60 foot high challenge course and zip lines! Climb, navigate and hang while secured from a safety harness before you "zip" over the Hill Country on one of 4 zip lines. Recently opened, Discovery Village has new food, beverage and retail spaces along with a beautiful courtyard and 5,000 square foot outdoor maze. Picnic grounds also available. Open year-round starting at 9am, with special hours in spring and summer. My Readers Save $2 off an Adult and $1 off a Child's Discovery Tour ticket. DIY Dallas Cowboys Nail Art

My mom is a big Dallas Cowboys fan and requested I try a football inspired nail design to show her team spirit. So here it is...this nail tutorial could be used for other teams-just switch up the blue and silver for whatever colors of your favorite sports team to show your team spirit! This design is simple and did not take a lot of time, the hardest part was the star.   The step-by-step instructions are down below! Enjoy.

Difficulty: Easy
Tools you will need:    1. White nail polish-i used Petites in French White
                                     2. Clear top coat- I used NYC Long Wearing Extra Shiny Top
                                     3. Silver Glitter nail polish-i used NYC Starry Silver Glitter
                                     4. Blue nail polish-i used Pure Ice in French Kiss
                                     5. Silver nail polish- i used L.A. Colors Silver
                                     6. Green nail polish- i used Revlon in Posh
                                     7. Brown nail polish-i didn't have this so I mixed together a red, orange,      and yellow nail polish to make the brown.
                                     8. Yellow nail polish- I used SH Sugar Coat in Sweetie
                                     9. A toothpick for line work

Steps:

1.Paint your thumb and middle finger Silver, your index fingers blue, ring fingers brown, and pinky fingers green. Allow to dry completely.

2-3.Thumbs- use your toothpick (using your blue nail polish) and slowly draw a star in the center of your nail. Be sure to fill it in.
Index fingers- use your silver nail polish to paint a slanted silver tip at the end of your BLUE nail. You want your index fingers to be half blue and half silver.
Middle fingers- use your blue nail polish to paint a slanted blue tip at the end of your SILVER nail. You want your index fingers to be half silver and half blue.
Ring fingers- using the toothpick draw a line down the center of your nail with white nail polish. Now draw small lines across the center line so that it looks like the laces/stitching on a football.
RIGHT PINKY-using the toothpick and white nail polish start on the outside edge of your finger and draw a long line (almost all the way across) and shorter lines in between..until you go all the way down the side. You want it to resemble the football field goal lines.
LEFT PINKY- use the toothpick and yellow nail polish to draw a field goal post in the center of your finger.

After everything is dry I went back and added the silver glitter nail polish over the thumbs, and anywhere there was silver to make it pop. After that add your clear top coat and VIOLA! You are done!   I hope you enjoyed these designs. :)

If you try this manicure or any of the others I have posted, I would love to see it!
